Planning / item properties
You can create your own input fields for free text, numbers, dates, times, selection lists or addresses by using the page Planing / item properties. Already at creation you can arrange who is allowed to use the respective input field. Furthermore can you connect such an input field with a particular operation, and therefore define the input field as mandatory field. The planing and item properties enable you to effect your internal processes controlling. Because with it, you are capable to deposit additional Addition (in Latin: addere) is one of four basic operations in arithmetic. In primary school and in common language it is the expression used for the adding of two or more numbers. information for your plans, for example internal instructions, status information or also check marks.

Symbol | You can assign each entry in the table a symbol to be able to differentiate the various planning and item properties from each other more easily. |
Property for | In the column Property for it is specified if it involves a planning or a item property. |
Active | You can recognise if the respective created property currently can be used in CARAT via the column Active. |
Name | The name of the respective property is shown in the column Name. We advice you to assign one name for each planning or item property a name which also clearly reflects the intended use. |
Kind of input | You can recognise which kind of value can be entered via the respective planning or item property, via the column Kind of input. |
MEMA-number | Each property is always assigned a fixed MEMA-number. The fixed assignment is necessary when you want to use one or more planning or item properties for an export in you merchandise management. Because of this fixed assignment it is irrelevant how the planning or item property is named or at which position that property is placed in the table. |
Via the button In dialogue windows you always find one or more buttons that can be activated by clicking on them. Typical functions for buttons are e.g. OK, Cancel, Apply. Buttons are always activated by a single click with the left mouse button. Edit you have the possibility to open a dialogue Dialogue, dialogue windows or dialogue fields are special windows in software applications. Dialogue windows are displayed by application programs in different situations to request input or confirmation from the user. via which you can modify the previously selected property upon your requirements. You can reset the modifications conducted by you to a planning property with the button Restore default.
At the bottom right are two arrow buttons available via which you can define the order of the planning and item properties in this table and hence also the order for later use in the commission overview or in the parts list.
